Every pair of Kiseau undies begins with a custom blend of certified organic, non-toxic fabrics, infused with seaweed. High quality natural fabrics are inherently more expensive compared to synthetics like lycra, nylon, spandex or elastane.

Our undies are hand made in small batches by human beings we know. People who are paid fairly and work in safe, respectful environments.

By making a conscious decision to stay away from plastic in our supply chain from product to packaging, we're one of the pioneers in the alternative underwear space, which means our production comes at a premium.

Our 7% non-toxic ROICA V550 is certified clean stretch unlike conventional elastane found in most underwear. It's just enough to hold shape and move with you while still meeting our strict non-toxic standard. Our mission is to become a fully plastic-free, 100% natural brand, as we keep up with new material sciences.

Our SeaCell™ fabric, ROICA™ V550 stretch fibre, and dyes are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, and the Organic Cotton is GOTS Certified at the mill level, meaning these materials have been independently tested for harmful substances before they're made into our underwear.

While the materials are certified, the finished Kiseau garment has not yet received separate OEKO-TEX® certification. We have begun the certification process and will share updates as we progress.

We believe transparency is essential, which is why we're always clear about what is and isn't certified. We only make claims that accurately reflect our supply chain, so you can make informed decisions with confidence.

Certifying a finished garment often requires more than using certified fabrics. Programs such as OEKO-TEX® and GOTS typically require certified manufacturing facilities, documented chain of custody, and ongoing third-party audits throughout production.

For many small, independently owned manufacturing studios, obtaining and maintaining these certifications can be prohibitively expensive. We chose to partner with ethical, small-batch manufacturers because of their craftsmanship and values, even though these certifications aren't always financially accessible for them, and we keep our supply chain transparent.

Our priority is always to invest in what directly touches your skin first: high-quality certified fabrics and dyes, while supporting ethical manufacturing partners that produce in small batches.

As we grow, we are pursuing additional certifications for our finished garments. Until then, we'll continue to be transparent about what is certified, what isn't, and why. We believe honest communication is just as important as the certifications themselves.
