We are an independent brand, building slowly and paying attention to the details, from our fibres to how a waistband feels against your body.

Our custom fabric blend costs more to make than conventional fabrics. We choose certified materials, work in small batches, and invest in thoughtful production rather than rushing through it.

That price reflects the fabric, the people making each piece, and the care behind the layer you wear every day.

Our current collection is made in small batches in Sri Lanka, with skilled makers in a studio we work closely with. It is a personal approach to production, with people and workmanship at its centre.

Fit advice depends on the shape you choose and how you like your underwear to feel. A thong and a bikini do not always call for the same size choice.

Our first collection had a narrower front. The current collection offers different coverage across Classic Thongs, Cheeky Bikinis and High Waist Briefs, with the High Waist Brief providing the fullest coverage.

Start with your bust and band measurements. In our guide, staying true to your band size gives a snug fit; sizing up the band gives a more barely-there feel.

Because comfort is personal, check the bralette chart before ordering. Bralettes in the current pilot run are final sale.

Our signature fabric is 70% GOTS-certified organic cotton, 23% SeaCell™ lyocell and 7% ROICA™ V550 stretch.

SeaCell™ combines Icelandic seaweed with wood-based lyocell. Sewing threads and trims are separate components, so the fabric blend should not be read as the composition of every part of a finished garment.

We love cotton for its soft, breathable feel. We choose GOTS-certified organic cotton for the standards behind its production, as well as the way it wears against the skin.

Our material sourcing includes cotton from Kazakhstan and Turkey. You can explore the blend in more detail on Our Materials.

Organic farming uses approaches such as crop rotation, compost and biological pest management instead of prohibited synthetic pesticides and fertilisers. Organic cotton is grown without genetically modified seed.

Harvesting can be manual or mechanical. Organic describes the farming standard; it does not, by itself, mean every crop is hand-picked.

Water use depends on where cotton is grown, rainfall and irrigation. Organic practices can support healthier soil and better water retention, but organic cotton does not have one universal water-saving percentage.

We choose it as part of a more considered approach to materials, without treating every farm or growing season as identical.

SeaCell™ is a cellulose fibre made with finely ground seaweed incorporated into wood-based lyocell. Our material story begins with seaweed from Iceland and responsibly sourced wood pulp.

The result is a soft, breathable fibre with seaweed built into its structure, rather than a seaweed fragrance or a surface coating.

SeaCell™ adds a soft feel and moisture-managing qualities. The seaweed within the fibre contains naturally occurring minerals, vitamins and amino acids.

Its manufacturer reports antioxidant properties in the textile. We choose it for this thoughtful combination of comfort and material innovation. Read the fibre maker’s explanation.

No ocean smell here. The seaweed is incorporated into the fibre during production, and our pieces have no added seaweed fragrance. Just your everyday essentials, with a different kind of fibre story.

The seaweed is dried, finely ground and incorporated into cellulose fibre using a closed-loop lyocell process. The production system recovers and reuses processing solvent, helping reduce waste.

The seaweed is harvested in a way intended to allow regrowth. Explore the manufacturer’s process.

The seaweed is built into the fibre. The manufacturer reports a 12–22% reduction in the measured effectiveness after a 50-cycle washing test.

This is a fibre-level test, rather than a promise about nutrient delivery or a specific skin result from each garment. Gentle care helps your Kiseau pieces stay comfortable over time. See the manufacturer’s information.

Our main fabric contains 93% cotton and SeaCell™ and 7% ROICA™ V550, which is a synthetic stretch fibre. We also use recycled-polymer sewing thread and product-specific trims.

Our goal is to keep moving towards fully natural alternatives. We are open about where we are now and what we are still working on in Our Materials Roadmap.

A little stretch helps underwear move with you and keep its shape. We chose ROICA™ V550 as a considered alternative to conventional stretch fibres.

ROICA™ V550 holds a Cradle to Cradle Certified® Material Health Gold certificate, which evaluates the chemicals in the material for human and environmental health. That certificate applies to the material, rather than the whole Kiseau garment.

Material Health certification examines what goes into a material and assesses its ingredients against human and environmental health criteria. ROICA™ V550 has achieved the Gold level.

It is one part of how we choose materials for next-to-skin clothing. It is not a medical guarantee or a certification of the finished garment. Learn about the certification.

Cotton and SeaCell™ are cellulose-based fibres that can biodegrade under suitable conditions. ROICA™ V550 has also shown degradation under controlled testing conditions.

That does not make a finished garment suitable for a home compost bin. Threads, trims, finishes and disposal conditions matter too. Wear and care for your pieces for as long as you can.

Degradation depends on the test environment and the material being tested. Fibre-level results should not be treated as a guaranteed timeline for a finished garment in soil, a landfill or home compost.

Our material choice reflects progress towards better stretch options. We are continuing to explore natural alternatives.

Underwear is a layer you wear close to the body for hours. We believe the dyes, finishes and materials deserve careful consideration, including substances such as PFAS that can persist in the environment.

We use material certifications to inform our choices and reduce unnecessary chemical exposure. Our materials page explains which certifications apply to each component.

We use A&E Aneflex™ ECO100, a recycled-polymer thread, in our current collection. We selected it for the strength and flexibility needed at seams that move and stretch with the body.

Cotton thread did not give us the same performance in our testing. We are continuing to explore natural options that can meet those needs.

STANDARD 100 tests certified textiles for specified harmful substances. Product Class 1, which covers baby articles, has the strictest requirements within that standard.

Our current material story includes certified fibres, fabrics, dyes and thread. These component-level credentials should not be confused with finished-garment certification. Explore STANDARD 100.

Our current credentials apply to the specified materials and components, including GOTS organic cotton, OEKO-TEX® materials and ROICA™ V550’s Material Health Gold certification.

Finished-garment certification is in progress. We keep that distinction visible because you deserve to know exactly what a claim refers to.

Machine wash on a gentle cycle, or handwash, with a gentle detergent. A delicate wash bag helps protect your pieces.

Avoid bleach and fabric softener. Air dry when you can, or tumble dry on low. Store your pieces somewhere cool and dry, and follow any style-specific instructions on the product page.

We use an enzyme wash instead of relying on strong finishing softeners for an instantly slippery feel. That means the fabric can feel a little more structured at first.

With gentle wear and washing, it softens into itself. Give it a little care and a little time.

Comfort starts with a fabric that allows air to circulate and feels good against your skin. We choose cotton and SeaCell™ for a soft, breathable everyday layer.

Fit matters too. Choose a size that feels comfortable, and change out of damp clothing after exercise or swimming.

Kiseau was created with women navigating sensitivities and changes in their bodies in mind. Soft, breathable underwear can be one part of a more comfortable daily routine.

Recurring UTIs need medical assessment and treatment; underwear alone cannot treat an infection. If you have ongoing irritation or symptoms, speak with a healthcare professional. Read NIDDK’s guidance.

We currently offer shipping to Canada, the United States and Australia. Available services and charges are shown at checkout for your address.

Please allow the processing time and estimated transit time stated in our shipping policy. Processing and delivery are separate stages, and business days exclude weekends and holidays.

If an item is available to reserve, check its product-page estimate before ordering. Carrier delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates.

You can reserve an eligible item while it is out of stock. Its product page explains the expected arrival timing, and we send it when it reaches us.

Please read the reservation message on the item you choose, since timing can change between restocks.

We email shipping confirmation when your order is on its way. If you selected a tracked service, that email includes your tracking number.

Tracking can take time to update. If there has been no update for seven business days, email support@kiseau.com with your order number.

For United States orders, import duties or fees are covered under our current shipping policy. For Australia, any applicable import duties and taxes are the customer’s responsibility.

Shipping charges and taxes collected at checkout are shown before payment. Please review the shipping policy for your destination.

For your first eligible order, contact us within 21 days of delivery if the fit is not right. Comfort First applies to single underwear pieces and offers an exchange or store credit.

Your first eligible opened pair does not need to be returned. Sets, bundles, multipacks and bralettes are excluded. The full return policy explains eligibility and exclusions.

Eligible returns and exchanges must be requested within 21 days of delivery. Items must be unopened, with their original packaging intact.

Return-label costs are the customer’s responsibility. Original shipping costs and duties are non-refundable. Contact us before sending anything back and review the return policy for all conditions.

Bralettes in our current small-batch pilot are final sale. Marked-down items from sitewide or seasonal promotions, and purchases made using externally generated discount codes, are also final sale under our current policy.
