We get this question a lot and the answer is absolutely not! Our undies are completely scent-free and odor-neutral. No seaweed smell here. Just clean, breathable comfort. In fact, our custom fabric blend is naturally breathable and porous, which makes it odor-resistant too.

Yes, we use a minimal amount of thoughtfully chosen OEKO-TEX® certified synthetic fibers to ensure comfort, performance, and sustainability. Our fabric includes ROICA™ V550, a rare Japanese clean elastane that fully degrades in microbiologically active soil, and a recyclable polymer thread to stitch our seams. They are free of PFAs and harmful textile toxins.

While our long-term goal is to be 100% natural, we’ve chosen not to use conventional elastic waistbands (commonly used by other natural underwear brands) because they can leave tight pressure points on the body. Instead, we’ve carefully innovated our design to stay in place using the safest, minimal amounts of stretch available prioritizing both your skin’s and the Earth's wellbeing.

To make your Kiseau undies last, we recommend washing them with the same care you’d give to your skin. Gently and naturally.

• Recommended: Machine wash on a gentle cycle, or handwash using natural detergent inside a delicate wash bag.
  
• Avoid: Bleach and fabric softeners. They break down natural fibers and shorten the life of your undies.
  
• Drying: Tumble dry on low, or better yet, lay flat or hang to air dry for maximum longevity.
  
• Storage: Keep your undies in a cool, dry place. In humid environments, a dry storage bin with a bit of baking soda helps keep things fresh.

Note: Save your Kiseau undies from conventional detergents which contain harsh chemicals like phthalates and formaldehyde that harm your health, the earth, and wear out your undies.
