The Kiseau Story
Nethmie created Kiseau with her partner David, after witnessing women in their close circle navigate endometriosis, autoimmunity, and chronic hormonal conditions. It made us question why underwear, the layer sitting closest to our bodies every day, was so often left out of the conversation around health and conscious living.
Kiseau was created as an antithesis to fast fashion and an industry that has normalized materials and practices that don’t always consider our bodies or our health.
We see intimate wear as an extension of skincare, and part of the wider ecosystem we’re all trying to create around ourselves. Every Kiseau piece is lovingly made to create a softer, more conscious space for you as you move through your everyday.

What goes into the price of a Kiseau piece?
Every Kiseau piece is made with a rare, high-quality natural fabric blend that costs more to produce than conventional fabrics. We invest in fabric safety and work with OEKO-TEX® and GOTS-certified materials.
Our pieces are handmade in small batches, and we work with suppliers who share our commitment to fair, safe, and cleaner production.
From the fabric itself to our packaging, we make considered choices to reduce plastic and prioritize better materials. That naturally comes at a premium.
What are the benefits of natural underwear?
Natural fibers are naturally breathable, helping keep your intimate area cool, dry and comfortable, while synthetic fabrics can trap heat and moisture against the skin.
Kiseau’s signature blend of organic cotton, SeaCell™ and just a touch of clean stretch is designed to create a softer, toxic-free, breathable environment for your most intimate skin.
Why does Kiseau get softer with every wash?
We deliberately avoid strong chemical softeners that are often used to create an ultra-soft feel straight out of the package. Instead, we use a gentler enzyme wash that helps prepare the fabric while preserving the natural qualities of the fibers.
Because of this, your Kiseau pieces may feel slightly more structured at first, but they soften beautifully with a few wears and washes, especially when cared for with a gentle, natural detergent.
What is Comfort First?
On your first order, contact us within 21 days of delivery if the fit is not right. Eligible single underwear pieces qualify for an exchange or store credit. Sets, bundles and bralettes are excluded. See our full policy for eligibility and unopened-item returns.
